By Nathan Thomas Aldi's arrival Aldi has finally arrived in Kingston! The German supermarket chain has continued its rise to the top of the supermarket monopoly by invading Kingston.
KU student, Ben Birch, was excited by its arrival:
" A couple of my mates have already been and I've heard really good things about it,"
" They've all been boasting about it, it seems a pretty weird thing to boast about."

Cheaper food Walking around Aldi proved that it is cheaper than other supermarkets in Kingston. A punnet of blueberries was 69p, £1:30 cheaper than Sainsburys opposite the road. Meat was also much cheaper, two salmon fillets were £2.45 along with diced beef steak for £1.75
